I'm looking forward to trying the Uptown location now that I'm back down in the city -- the Evanston outlet was my go-to source for pizza during my year there. But I have to say, I ordered from the Evanston location last weekend once everything was packed up, and it was one of the worst pizzas I've had. Anywhere ever. Flat-out awful. Soggy crust, hardly any topping (I'd ordered sausage & green pepper), rubbery cheese so thick I couldn't see or taste any tomato sauce. I threw most of it away and, were I still up there, they'd be on Double Super Secret Probation. I hope maybe their A crew just had a night off -- at no point was that pizza handled by anyone who knew anything about making pizza. Caveat emptor and, given their long run of successes, I hope to hear encouragingly contradictory notes about them soon.
