I quite like them. They use (I think) cod and it has a good amount of light, non-greasy breading and has absolutlely no 'fishy' tast and no chunks of fish skin attached to the meat (two things that turn me right off). Their portions were also extremely large, so unless you're a really big eater I'd recommend sharing and then if your table is still hungry getting a second order because like most f'n'c I don't imagine they'd be very good the next day. I don't think the chips were very remarkable - neither really good not bad - just a nice conveyance for the vinegar. I've ordered other fiid at the Abbey and been generally pleased with what I've ordered but I usually order the f'n'c and I plan on taking my London-born mom there soon because she lamants the lack of good chip shops in the area.
