Any thoughts? I haven't been there in a year.. just checking to see if things slipped and also to see if the dim sum was any good.

I can't tell you if they slipped, but my wife and I enjoy the place, especially for their Jalepeno Sesame Shrimp. I really don't understand why they never seem to be busy as I find their food of very high quality and very reasonable (esp. if you buy gift certs from restaurant.com). Haven't tried the Dim Sum as I don't typically deviate from my regular places for breakfast and brunch (Leos and Mas, also on Division).

I'm not certain if they're still doing it, but at the beginning of the year, Green Ginger was serving a late-night dim sum menu from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursdays, as well as regular dim sum on weekend mornings.

I had a gift certificate to Green Ginger and went there last fall. Obviously, the discounts were intended to attract more clientele. The place was empty and understandably so. Food is clearly poor quality and the surroundings need to be spruced up. My conclusion or as my mother would say, "it only costs a bit more to go first class." There are better places for Asian food such as Silver Spoon and Yu's in Schaumburg.
