Being restaurant industry professionals, we are often stuck working till midnight and in a quandary to find a place to get a decent meal at that hour.

Last night we popped into Usagi-Ya on Miwaukee and Division hoping that they were still serving food and thankfully, the kitchen was open until 1 am. Sadly, we were the only people in there at that hour and thought it was a shame that there were probably a few other people in our same predicament.

Hence, the purpose of my post. I thought we could all chime in with a few late night options, places with kitchens open until at least 2 am but 24 hour joints also welcome. This way, we could keep a list of these places handy for when the late night hunger pangs kick in.

Looking forward to hearing from the night owls and industry pros.

Its exactly the thread that inspired me to post. I live in River West/Ukranian Village area so I was also looking to see if we could come up with places without geographical boundries. A sort of late night guide for the metro chicago area, so to speak.

So how was the food? Was it good enough that you'd go there even if it wasn't late?

Here's an earlier thread offering some more late-night experiences.
