Definetly my best sushi delivery experience has been Coast on Damen...much better than SushiX which as great packaging but terrible sushi.

I've gotten take-out (but not delivery) many times from Sushi X. It's always been delicious. Guess I'll have to give Coast a try now.

coast does great, extremely quick delivery! i was so happy to find out that my condo is located just within the border of the delivery range....used to live on armitage & ordered quite a bit.

moved to logan square last april & luckily, they go all the way to kedzie/diversey.

the white dragon roll & volcano roll can't be beat!

I thought the sushi was pretty decent but I had one problem with Coast-- sweetened soy sauce! It was like a teriyaki sauce or some other kind of dipping sauce, not soy sauce as such. Very odd (possible, I suppose, that they gave me the wrong thing).

Huh. Like, the soy sauce in the container on the table was sweetened or something?

    I've never had that happen.

Coast isn't my favorite place for sushi, but it's pretty reliable. They almost always have fresh wasabi available if you ask, which is a nice touch.

This was in a delivery package, which is why I suspect it may have been simply the wrong brownish-black liquid stuck in my order, though my initial suspicion was further evidence of the P.F. Changization of Asian food to make it more candy-like for American palates.
