LTH Food Exchange Summer Break?

So I was thinking a while ago that summer might be a bit of a challenge for the food exchange. Many foods that freeze well, such as stews and soups might be a bit less interesting in the summer heat. And with all the bounty of the season, it's a bit easier to keep meals a bit more interesting. Given that and given that I don't see that anyone's posted a date for a June gathering, I was thinking we may want to take a summer hiatus, and start back the second Monday in October? How does that sound?

I thought of September as a possibility to start up again, but then realized that the second Monday in September is the day after the LTH picnic, so October seems wise.Toast, as every breakfaster knows, isn't really about the quality of the bread or how it's sliced or even the toaster.
