    Hi Folks,
Sorry this is posted on the late side. This Sunday May 24th at Noon is our Crawfish Boil. We have 800 lbs on order
coming straight from Louisiana. For $25 it is all you can eat crawfish, Muffaletta sandwiches, and Red Beans and rice. In the boil we also cook up fresh sweet corn, redskin potato's, sausage, whole garlic cloves, mushrooms and hotdogs etc. Last year we were cleaned up and finished cooking around 7:30. Like to see some folks come out! Abita Amber Pints are $4 all day long!

    Thanks,
    Danny

    Danny,

Do you need a reservation in advance? We are tackling a painting project this weekend, but might be up for an afternoon crawfish/Abita break. Can we just pay at the door?

    Thanks,
    Lynn

    Lynn,

Yes it is just a pay at the door process, at that point just jump on in and grab a bucket of crawfish and find somewhere to start peeling!! Hope you make it.

gonna try hard to make it, but not sure yet. The last crawfish boil at Toons was fantastic.

I really enjoyed the crawfish boil earlier this Spring at Toons and plan to go back for more on Sunday. As soon as I finish Bike the Drive and take a nap, I'll be there. If my dining companions thought I ate a lot last time, wait until they seem me after a 60 mile bike ride!

    Dansch, KennyZ and Jimswside,
We missed your attendance at the event however I am glad to tell you it was a big success and several crawfish eating pros in Toons for this one!! We put out the first cooler at 11:45 due to very impatient hungry eaters. We were completely finished and cleaned up out back by 6pm!! 800 lbs GONE!! It was amazing how much some people were eating! Will try to have another on a small scale before crawfish season ends around July 1st.
    Cheers,
    Danny

    Danny,

I am sorry I wasn't there - I was really looking forward to not just the crawfish, but the whole heads of garlic and mushroom caps. I expected to have quite the raging appetite after biking 70 miles - turns out that I did, but I also was exhausted and slept through most of the afternoon!

    See you next time.
