Last visit to Podhalanka had me wishing for bigos, which is not on the menu. When I asked about it, I was told they'd make it special if I could get 10 or more people. So, before it gets too warm outside, are there 10 or more people interested in getting their Bigos on? Thurs 3/26 @ 7 pm. Of course potato pancakes and perogies will be involved as well.

I may be in for two if you can clarify the date. Also, they close at 8:00 does that make a difference in start time? Just thinking of some sauerkraut (or cabbage, I never have figured out what it is called) soup is making my mouth water.

Unfortunately, I've got a very long CPR class on Monday night, but I'll keep a lookout on the off chance that the outing date changes. Great idea!

You may be lucky, perhaps he really meant Thursday March 26th.

Oh, bummer. Two commitments on Thursday. I'll just have to get my bigos on another time. Enjoy!

I didn't ask and have no clue to the cost, as it just made my want list. But judging by the ratio of price to value there I'd imagine quite reasonable, somewhere in the $20-30 range. Very hard to spend any serious $ there. I'm supposed to firm it up on Mon with Helena when I know if I can produce the alloted diners. I'll get back to you after that.

    Alan,

Great menu, I'm going with my favorite Podhalanka soup, White Borscht. Love cold beet salad and perogies, but those potato pancakes, oh my.

Unfortunately, my nephew was feeling ill, so I sent him home early. Looks like I will be sans my +1 (but I will be there for sure). Hope the late notice doesn't screw things up.
