Just to let everyone know the #250 of crawfish is on the way!! It will be pulled out of a crawfish field Friday morning in Southern Louisiana. We will pick it up live at Fed Ex. transport out at O'Hare Saturday morning at 9 am. We will be back at Toons and fire up the boiling pots immediately! For those of you who have never been to a crawfish boil this is the way it is done all over Louisiana! We will cover the pool table with plywood and newspaper and let everyone dig in!! You take a break, Drink an Abita and when you get hungry again REPEAT!!! We will have are regular menu also that day so if you just want to check it out COME ON IN!! Jim look forward to seeing and meeting you and hope to see Kennyz as well! Maybe a visit from GWIV who has threatened in the past! Hot Boiled Crawfish available around 2!

It's lookin' pretty certain that I'll be there, though it will be on the early side.

Danny - will you be smoking any ribs too on Saturday? I have fond memories of my last slab at Toons.

Other LTHers - come on out. Toons is a friendly place with good food, shuffleboard in the back, and an owner (Danny) who couln't be a more gracious host.

Depending on the line @ Hot Dougs I should be @ Toons around 12:00 to enjoy some basketball, tequila and beer before the mudbugs are put out. Saturday is day one of my weekend long birthday celebration, so I have been looking forward to it all week.

Yes we will load up the smoker, doing some chickens as well as ribs. We are sending over some food to Hopefest a benefit at Parkwest for the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless that evening featuring the Freddy Jones Band. The bands will be eating good!!
Hope to see you all out Saturday.
