Crawfish sesason has finally arrived, and Cajun Connection is having one of their many crawfish boils of the season the weekend of March 6th through the 8th(while supplies last).
I will be headed there of Saturday the 7th for dinner , and would enjoy some fellow LTH company if anyone is interested.
Last year 4 lbs of crawfish, and a cup of gumbo went for the bragain price of $20.
This is a chance for those who have not yet been to Ron's to try his regular menu, or the mudbugs, and see why many consider Cajun Connection the place for gumbo, crawfish, etouffee, jambalaya, red beans and rice, boudin, frog legs, alligator, etc in Chicagoland.
Cajun Connection does not take reservations, so it is a good plan to get there as they open at 4:00. Otherwise there will likely be a line out the door by 5:00, especially when there is a crawfish boil. Depending on turnout I doubt all could sit together, but there are a few larger tables to accomodate a small(10-15 people) group.
I hope to see some LTHr's out there, and would enjoy having a meal with anyone who heads out. I will be there at 4:00 p.m. on the 7th, and look forward to seeing some familiar faces or some folks I have not had the pleasure to meet yet.
Reply here on the thread if interested.
