Gluten Free Pizza - Feb 24th

If you know anyone who needs to eat gluten free and is afraid of going out to eat, MetroCeliacs is hosting an impromptu (and last minute) pizza dinner at Marcello's (North Ave location) on Tuesday, Feb 24th in the evening. Attendance is by invite only, so PM me ASAP if you are interested and I'll give you more details and hook you up with the people coordinating the event.

Does this Marcellos normally serve gluten-free pizza, or is this a one-time special event? One of my daughter's playdates is avoiding gluten and the poor boy LOVES pizza.

They serve it all the time - all locations, I believe.

In addition, the Uno's franchise started selling GF pizza last month. They sell it at all locations except the original two downtown.

One more option, Aurelio's has GF pizza. All but one store, however, buy marginal crusts from a vendor. The one in Addison makes their own crust and it tastes decent.

So, between them, hopefully one will be close to this child's home.
