Went to the Acropolis in dyer Indiana. The food was good. The prices were right. The only thing that wasn't quite right was that they use CLOVES in EVERYTHING they cook. On your dinner plate you should have one thing that was seasoned with cloves and other things should be seasoned in other ways. Like Oregano, & Cinnamon. The overuse of cloves is common in Greek cooking but in my and others I was brought up with tastes, not appropriate.
Yes cloves in one portion, but not all portions.
I'd be interested in knowing other peoples views, especially pro chefs in greek cuisines.
