That’s a very good guess but wrong, I’m afraid. Masi’s does have an old Faulds oven as you can see in this old post from Antonius but it’s a different model.

    Tanelli's?

Not Tanelli’s. To be honest I was unfamiliar with Tanelli’s (5806 W Fullerton) until I looked it up a few minutes ago. Would you consider it worth a visit?

Another really good guess. As you can see from Erik’s post on Larsa, they too have an old Faulds oven. But, again, it’s a different model!

Candid admission - I've never been (too far west for me). I just knew it was supposed to have a Fauld's oven. :) I'd be happy to hook up some day and try it out!

This place is on a major north side street. The oven is in the front window and is visible from the sidewalk. I’d certainly be up for trying Tanelli’s one of these days.

Looks like Sano's Famous Pizza on Lawrence next to Laurel Liqours. Years back used to be one of my on the way home from work stops, a slice from Sano's and a six pack of Augsburger from Laurel.

Yes, Sano’s it is. Very good! Isn’t that oven beautiful? The rest of the interior is of similar age and maintained just as well. I have to admit I haven’t tried their pizza yet (didn’t look overly promising) but I’ll get back there one of these days.

Sounds like nothings changed in the 20 years since my last visit.
