Steve--it is within the Chicago city limits--so not Puck's O'Hare. And Aaron, it's not Piece either.

I think it's time to post a picture that pulls away from the oven a little bit---more clues. I don't have access to the rest of these photos though from work, so I will do it this evening if no one guesses.

    Robey Pizza Company?

Hi all! I've been a long time lth (and former c.h.) reader - but have never posted before. I am so adicted to this "new game" and haven't gotten any work done in the last 2 days - so I had to sign up just to answer (although I'm not completely confident of my choice).

    Welcome clb!

It's not Robey Pizza Co, though. This thread is interesting- we are starting to generate quite a list of pizza joints who use wood burning ovens.

The pizza station in the food court at the Museum of Science and Industry (Sodexho run) actually uses a wood burning oven too! Although - that pizza in the image looks too small to cut into the monster size (and flavorless) slices they serve there. Wood burning oven though - none the less.

Thanks for the Welcome - and for the reading enjoyment you all provide; this is one of the best list serve sites I've read (very well moderated).

I saw that at MSI, too. What amazed me was how utterly and completely terrible the pizzas, ostensibly being cooked in the wood burning oven, were. Geez, if there was ever proof needed that the cooking method is not the most important thing, they're it.

I withdraw Avec, which has a steel oven. The olives threw me off. Artopolis seems right for the same reason.
