Across the Table Community Conversations Dinner in Uptown

Across the Table is a non-profit which breaks down barriers by uniting Chicagoans from diverse communities, ethnicities, age groups and socio-economic groups all while enjoying delicious meals and dynamic conversation.

Join in on the conversation with diverse Chicagoans over a meal of yummy Vietnamese food!

You will be a part of a group of eight people, including one facilitator who leads the discussion around a chosen topic.

All meals are family-style and vegetarian and this week's spot, Hai Yen on Argyle is BYOB so BYOB if you'd like!

The topic of conversation for next week's dinner is:
"How do we define family? Does our definition of family include blood relatives or a family we have created on our own? Is there such thing as an ideal family? If so, what is it? If not, why?"
