COLLEGE OF DUPAGE HOSPITALITY AND CULINARY PROGRAMS HOST 12TH ANNUAL
FOOD AND WINE “TRADITIONS IN EXCELLENCE” EVENT, TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2009

College of DuPage's 12th annual "Traditions in Excellence" food and wine dinner event is set for Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. The "Traditions in Excellence" dinner event is an opportunity for the College of DuPage’s culinary students to showcase their skills, while raising money to enhance the Hospitality Administration program.
This year’s event presents a four-course elegant sit down dinner prepared by the students. The evening will begin with a champagne reception featuring plated appetizers at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. At 8 p.m. the live auction will start. Finishing off the evening, guests will enjoy a selection of delicious desserts served at 9 p.m.
The College of DuPage will be recognizing one of their exemplary graduates - Gus Vonderheide, Vice President, Hyatt Corporation.
"Traditions in Excellence" tickets are $75 each and include the champagne reception, dinner, wine and participation in the live and silent auctions. The event is from 5:30 to 9 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom located in the Student Resource Center (The Jack H. Turner Conference Center).
