In for one - great looking menu! Sadly, the wife is on call that day and won't be able to make it. The jealousy if/when she sees the menu is guaranteed to be such that I'm tempted to not tell her I'm going

Dang! As I suspected, summer commitments do pop up.

My Bride and I will be in Iowa for a grandchild's dance recital and I doubt that we could make it back by 5. While the menu looks awesome I will have to make do with a pork tenderloin sandwich and a few Maid-Rite's.

    Save us some leftovers! :)

What's the scoop on parking at this venue? Street? Lot? Stacks of money? Free? Wear walking shoes?

    Additional Party Information:

    1) Parking: In my experience, street parking on Armitage is plentiful. However, parking on Armitage Ave. is metered. I'm not sure exactly what the price is, but you should assume that it is the rate of .25 per 15 minutes. The meters will be in effect for the entire duration of our party, so if you park on Armitage Ave., please bring quarters.

    2) A note about the service of the food: To make sure that we have an even flow of food throughout the party, we have decided to stagger the service of the food. Therefore, dishes from some of the GNRs will be served when you arrive at Weegee's at around 1:00 p.m., but then food from the other GNR restaurants will arrive and be served in stages throughout the party, up to approximately 3:00 p.m.

    See you all on Sunday!

Glad there is some positive reception for this. It should reduce traffic jams and maximize hotness and freshness of the courses - we appreciate the patience and flexibility to pull this off for you.

Having dishes phased in also enables us to focus on a limited quantity of excellent chow at one time -- honestly, at large, sumptuous buffets (as at holiday party and picnic), the palate becomes overwhelmed.

how would we know you didn't kidnap the real Ursiform, tie her down, and snip off some hair? DNA samples will not be accepted, but I will try to have retinal scanning equipment on hand.

There is already a waiting list. From talking to hellodali yesterday, nobody cancelled to move anyone from the waiting list.

I am not going to make it today. Sorry for the late notice. I can't get away. My ticket is paid for, so 1 person can feel free to show up if you're hovering on the post watching for a cancellation.

I'm so bummed I'll be missing this feast! Looking forward to the pics and accolades.
