Swan Creek Benefit

Hiya - not sure if this belongs here or in the event calendar.

I got word from Ellen Malloy, publicist for Avec, Blackbird, the Bristol etc and Friend of Baconfest (tm), about a benefit nose-to-tail beer dinner at Goose Island on Wednesday. Proceeds from the dinner (and from the weeklong online silent auction that will launch that night in which chefs will auction off 15-person BBQs in your own home) will go to benefit George Rasmussen of Swan Creek Farm who lost his truck in a fire last week. 'Twould be nice, it seems to me, to have Paul Kahan cook me bacon in your house. Also nice to help a farmer.
