Thinking Globally ... Drinking Locally

We have our monthly beer class this upcoming Monday. Here are the details:

Where: Marion Street Cheese Market ~ 100 S. Marion Street, Oak Park, IL 60302
When: 7pm ~ Monday, March 16
Cost: $30

Details: Despite some sticky distribution laws in Illinois, we are continually surrounded by amazing local beer ... not to mention some of the best beer from around the country. Dave Phillips from the Chicago Beer Society will lead a discussion on the state of the Chicagoland area's craft beer scene. We'll talk about and taste the best beers available to our fair city (FFF Brian Boru, Goose Island Matilda, Two Brothers Cane & Ebel, Flossmoor Station Killer Kapowski, Metropolitan Flywheel, Rock Bottom Chicago, and more). We'll also throw in some beers from outside Illinois that we're darn lucky to have at our disposal (Lost Abbey and others). As always, cheese and bread will accompany your tastings and discussion.
