    Hi Chef David,
I made a reservation for Saturday night of this week, and look forward to trying the prix fixe special. I assume that Saturday night is included as I did not see any disclaimer on the email I received. Also, what is the BYOB policy as I see you have a full bar as well?
    Thanks,
    Butter

Some of the restaurants have opted out of the weekends but we have chosen not to
corkage is 15 bucks (no corkage on mondays), full bar available, new $29 wine list ($7 per glass, $14.50 per 1/2 bottle), very small reserve list.
    thank you for the reservation!

Chef, will you be posting new menu online? It seems the old sweets and savories web address sweetsandsavorieschicago.com is out of commission.

Just so you know, Sweets and Savories' wine list is quite nice. It doesn't try to be all things to all people, but has good choices at reasonable prices.

My wife and I had a lovely dinner on Super Bowl Sunday: the lobster risotto is one of the most luxurious dishes that I have had in many months - and with the three courses at $29.09, the entire meal with two glasses of wine, tax, and tip came to under $100 for two. It reminded me of how fortunate we are to have S&S in Chicago: three star cuisine at one star prices.

With the current menu, Sweets & Savories is indeed a great value. On our visit last Friday, I ordered the Steak Frites, which at $19 is the most expensive entree on the menu. The portion was literally twice the size I was expecting at that price point in this style of restaurant. Although it was still quite satisfying, If anything, the steak was actually too large, and the temperature and texture were a bit uneven. The steak was topped by an enormous helping of excellent fries.

It certainly seems as though they do a great job with risotto. The blueberry risotto with duck and creme fraiche was my favorite dish of the meal. The blueberries are a creative addition, but I'm not convinced they added a great deal.
