Old timers - Do you remember these Mexican restaurants

1) My favorite Chicago mexican restaurant as a child was on the west Side of Halstead, north of Maxwell. I can't remember if there was an east-west street between Maxwell and Roosevelt that crossed Halstead. That's the best of my recollection. I remember the interior of the restaurant to have those tall leather back/seat chairs. I know, not much to go on but maybe someone else might remember. Research on the Internet looking for photos of Maxwell St in the mid to late '60's hasn't helped.

2) Does anyone know what became of the La Margarita chain of restaurants with locations in Chicago, Morton Grove and Bolingbrook? Who was the owner and what was the demise of the franchise?
