help with nw loop lunch

I'd like to meet a friend for lunch and need to pick a spot midway along the journey of our lunch, which turns out to be the NW loop.

I have no clue. I'm considering places mentioned in the Loop Chinese thread.

(When I go out, I usually head north of the loop, e.g. Kan Zaman at Wells/Ontario)
