Thanks for all the posts about hoy tod; it's a dish I had years ago and have been wanting to try again. TAC is now high on my list of places to go to.
Long ago (1980's?) wife #1 and I saw Hoy Tod on the menu at Bangkok Inn on north Lincoln Avenue (might have had a different name then) and decided to try it instead of the usual.
It was superb and we made a point of returning several times for more. Then Hoy Tod disappeared from the menu (I think there was an ownership change) never to be seen again, and we've been looking for it since.
