I stopped by LTs grill at 1800 W. Grand today for a late breakfast. Larry was pretty busy, so I didn't get to talk to him, but there were signs on the table saying LT's will be open again for dinner starting June 10 with a new Asian menu.

Soup: Asian Noodle Soup, Beef Noodle Soup
Appetizers: Fried Tofu, Squis Salad, Pot Stickers, Siopao Eggrolls, Shrimp Tempura
    Sandwiches: Burger, Grilled Chicken, Tuna
Entree with Rice: Beef Kalbi, Chicken Teriyaki, BBQ Pork, Shrimp Tempura
Noodles: Pansit, Chap Chae, Pad Thai

    Mon- Thurs 6-10
    Friday -Sat 6-11

    Still BYOB

Those of you who have been missing Larry's noodles from the NN Smokehouse days will soon be fulfilled.

I have had good experiences there with breakfast and lunch I am curious to see how the new dinner venture works out.

Larry is/was married to a Phillipian woman. That could be the Asian influence for the dinner menu.

I actually talked to LT rather at length about this a month or so ago - he's a gregarious guy. He was indeed married to a Filipino woman during the heyday of NN Smokehouse. Things went south in a big way. They divorced.

Undaunted by the experience, LT was remarried in February of this past year.....to another Filipino woman. 8)

Thanks for the info. I'm glad things are going so well!

Do you know if the lunch menu is going to change as well, or will it stay the same? So far I've only made it to LTs for brunch (which was decent), but from what I've read I'd really like to try the pulled pork sandwich--I hope I haven't lost my chance.

Either way, the new dinner menu looks quite interesting. Gotta try that kalbi.

I expect that the lunch menu will get tweaked but I am not sure if the pulled pork will stay or go. I will try to talk to Larry when I go in for brunch this weekend and post an update.
