Went to Evergreen Saturday night. Really had a fine meal. Ordered whole lobster in X/O sauce, S&P shrimp and beef with orange. While it generally tends toward the common American-Chinese menu, there were plenty of interesting items and the clientel is mixed asian and gringo pretty evenly it seemed.
It is a bit nicer than the other stalwarts in Chinatown, and for my purposes (professional service, booze and solid food), it was perfect for the evening.
The lobster was outstanding, in fact, I'd like to go back and eat some of their other lobster dishes. Salt/Pepper shrimp, shell-on, head-on, was outstanding. Delicate coating, cripsy/salty shells...
