Old Favorites Along Roosevelt Rd. in Berwyn

I haven't been in the area for quite some time and recently found out a few of my all time favorites places are now closed.

Parky's
Kings&Queens

Any info on when and why they closed?


At least Buona Beef and the Turano Bread outlet are still there!

Giovanni's moved to the North Riverside Mall area

Kings and Queens reopened as Nicky's, and, frankly, is better. Look for a thread on the new K&Q in this forum.

Parky's indeed closed, but that location was always a little weird anyway -- strange hours, limited menu, etc. The location on Harlem near Madison is still open.
