With company in town, and my cooking skills a little rusty, we decided to eat every meal out:
Friday Lunch(Bongo Room)-these guys make great sandwiches, period. Napa Slaw Reuben was magnificent.
Friday Dinner(Katsu)-Grilled Beef Tongue, great white toro and salmon, the best sushi in Chicago
Saturday Lunch(Babylon)-Good not great-definetly solid food and a good bang for your buck-I'll come back for the falafel
Saturday Dinner(Boka)-The best of the weekend-my meal was 1)grilled baby octopus, 2)heirloom tomato salad, 3)day-boat scallops with bulghar salad4)peach napolean-killer meal-killer service-great patio setting
Sunday(Spring)-1)Tuna Tartare, 2)carrot Soup, 3)Halibut with a great mascarpone risotto, great service as usual
And my last meal of the weekend-the always reliable Honey Bunches of Oats
