Hi - is there a place for first time posters to say hello and post about themselves?
ive lurked on here a few times and noticed there is some BBQ talk from time to time and seeing as I sell my own BBQ sauce in the Chicago area and want to keep up with the food trends in Chicago I figure this is the best place :D

Welcome and thanks for introducing yourself. Your website lists four places to buy your sauce. Any chance it will be available closer to downtown any time soon?

Hi Darren - Thanks for your interest!
The sauce just got bottled in Nov so Im still working on getting samples to various store in the area. I do want to get some places close to the city as well
The store list IS growing though.
I have a few more places right now pending that I cant list as of yet until things get finalized.
keep in mind there is one place on my website that is an online retailer ..he will ship anywhere
Please keep checking the website for more stores and where I might be doing a BBQ comp or product demo as I will have product for sale at those as well.
If there was enough interest though I would consider direct sales until then for folks in or close to the city. Please call me or email me from the website about that though as I dont want to be breaking any rules here..if i havent already :)

    Hi,

If you are keen about introducing your business, then the Professional forum is the best place to do this.

If you are interested to introduce yourself, which people rarely do, then there is a suitable thread: Introduce yourself neighbor. Most of the people who do reply to it are not newbies.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Darren - just an update.. Paulina Market (they use to sponser my bbq competition team) now has a couple bottles of my sauce in hand for them to sample. I will be following up with them soon to see if they are interested in carrying it on a regular basis. I also picked up casey's Foods in Naperville although thats a bit of jaunt from the city :)
