    Organic Gourmet Turduckens

Now available for Christmas and NYE’08

I'm taking orders for the best birds around. I have 4 years of experience making turduckens, and have even made turduckenich (turkey-duck-chicken-ostrich) and turduckenit (turkey-duck-chicken-rabbit). A turducken is de-boned turkey stuffed with a de-boned duck, stuffed with a small de-boned chicken, with sausage and cornbread, all rubbed with a cajun rub. In the end it looks like a normal turkey and is truly delicious.

My turduckens are made with Organic Birds, Local Andouille, and homemade cornbread. Wheat-free version available. The turducken is applewood smoke roasted for a few hours and then slow roasted for a total of 12 hours.

    Limited quantity.
Pick-up your Turducken at Honky Tonk BBQ, 1213 W. 18th. Chicago
    2 Pickup times:
    11.24.07 10am-Noon

    15 pound Turduckens are $11/pound

    20 pounders are $9/pound.

I checked out the site...just curious: is an unroasted option available?

And, what about a smaller size? 20-25 lbs. at $10/lb. seems a wee bit steep.

    Hi there,
The price includes roasting. I am reluctant to offer unroasted birds since they require lower temp and longer time and i cannot guarantee the quality handing over a raw turducken. i am using a large Southern Pride Roaster which is programmed to do this correctly.
